In fact, you are one of our members who have helped make this organization flourish and grow and for that we thank you!  Our members share a common goal… We not only want to be “Our Best” but we desire to help others be “Their Best”. We embrace those challenges with “The Spirit of Cavett.”This year’s theme is “Harness the Power”

As President of our chapter I, along with the entire Board of Directors, plan on opening communication channels with everyone who is part of our Family.  We are creating a brand new Directory that lets you put a face to a name and get personal insight into our members’ hobbies, interests and specialties

Also, each month you will have the opportunity to hear from two or three members as they give a short introduction about themselves.  And, you will have the unique experience of getting up close and personal with the nation’s very best trainers and presenters in a wide spectrum of expertise.

Here’s the bottom line…
If you’re a people person, you will find people persons here! Perhaps a kindred spirit… and definitely first-class, quality people. It’s amazing what change takes place in your life when you are surrounded and supported by the right folks.  If you’re thinking about it – Stop Look & Listen …..

Hello NSA Central Florida!

Can you believe it has been an entire year since we made an official changing of the guards?? Wow! Where does the time go? Well, let’s see… it goes into building our businesses, attending meetings, making meetings happen, appealing to our clients, helping our colleagues, spending time with family and friends, and well… life. That’s where it goes and that is exactly what we asked all of our members and guests to do this year: Imagineer Your Business in the way that works for you! I think we have done just that and I am pleased and honored to participate with you in our June meeting, which is our last meeting of our fiscal year.

Don’t anyone panic because it’s not our LAST MEETING EVER! Hehe! But rather the meeting where we pay tribute to all that we have accomplished, we honor those members who have gone continually above and beyond, and we celebrate. This year is no different. It’s the annual dress up at the crack of dawn June meeting. So, dress up in formal attire if you wish and feel silly, but fun, like the rest of us… but also:

-         Celebrate your colleagues and check in with them on how business is going.

-         Hear a phenomenal speaker who has won Emmys! Wow! Welcome Bill Stainton!

-         Share your stories of what you are doing that works and how you’ve built your business.

In each meeting we seek to provide powerful content, relevant knowledge and immediately applicable skills and this meeting is no different. Bring your gussied up best that your imagination can muster and bring an open mind ready to drink from that fire hose of knowledge we call NSA Central Florida!

It has been an honor and privilege to serve as the mere guide on the side this year as your President and I know we are in for an even more powerful year coming ahead. Won’t you join us? Hello and welcome to the Central Florida Chapter of the National Speakers Association,

If you are new to speaking, a veteran speaker, or someone who has been working in this industry trying to find your way for the last two to five years, you may have just found “home”. Though we change themes and officers yearly, the purpose of our chapter, an extension of National Speakers Association, remains the same: to provide you with the support, skills, and knowledge to build, run, and develop your business. We seek to provide tools and resources, but also a strong camaraderie with those who “get it” as no one else in your life may understand why on earth you would choose to stand in front of an audience for a living! We get it and hope to see you soon!

For our 2009-2010 year we have chosen theme that is in alignment with the National Speakers Association 2009-2010 theme: Imagine. Imagine what you could do with your business if you could share ideas with those who “get it”. Imagine being able to command the platform in ways that literally transforms your audience. Imagine developing a sustainable, durable, and profitable business model in which perhaps you are not the only product or service and from which you make real money. As we face perhaps the most challenging year of our industry, since its inception, these elements we may only imagine, will become the focus. Thus, the National Speakers Association Central Florida Chapter Theme for 2009-2010 is: Imagineering Your Business.

Our chapter celebrates its 25th YEAR ANNIVERSARY this year and thus, you will see and hear from many who have made our chapter what it is today. We are one of many strong NSA chapters in our nation, with members who receive national and international acclaim, sixteen Certified Speaking Professionals and more than 100 members. As we embark on this year of Imagineering Our Business, a year of celebrating 25 Years in existence, we remain strong in our desire to seek more members that we can serve in even more effective, powerful and business driving ways.
